Designed with attention to detail in mind, the Darizen Acupuncture and Spa is guided by our belief in the natural rhythm of the five elements, in addition to the philosophy of wabi-sabi. Our treatments are organic, with ingredients from sustainable farms to create a natural and Biodynamic treatment. The techniques and products used during our treatments are designed to meet each of our clients’ individual needs.

I began my career in 2006 as an Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist in Brazil. I am Board- Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
I completed my Master’s degree with honors Summa Cum Laude in Acupuncture at the University of Bridgeport. In Brazil, I earned a BS degree in Biology and a Postgraduate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Acupuncture. In addition, I completed training for massage therapy with 4.0 GPA at the CCMT in Westport.
I am also continuously improving my education internationally, having obtained training at the Thai Traditional Medical Massage Service Society in Thailand and in China at the Training Center of the World Federation of Acupuncture at Beijing University.
